Greetings from the President's Corner

Wow, 2009 was a tremendous year that seemed to have flown right by.  If you blinked, you just may have missed it.  Ready or not, 2010 has knocked on your door, invited herself in and has without a doubt fully settled in, feet up on the coffee table, peerin' at you with a look of impatience seemingly saying, "Well, let's get movin' here Buddy!"

 

And movin' and shakin' is exactly what we've been doing.

 

The first kickoff meeting and roundtable for this year's Board of Director's have already commenced and with a group this proactive and capable, I have no doubt in my mind that 2010 will be a year filled with unprecedented accomplishments and continued contributions to the community made by the Santa Monica Jaycees.

 

I am very humbled to serve as the 80th President following suit in the long lineage of distinguished past Presidents - No doubt I have big shoes to fill!  Many in the Community have already offered your support and I truly welcome, with open arms, any and all suggestions, advice and guidance you may have. In addition, to my fellow Jaycees, let's all join together this year, freshly re-energized, in stride with each other, and carry out a renewed commitment to making a difference and giving back to the community we all are blessed to be a part of. 

 

With Everyone's support, let's make this 2010 year REALLY COUNT.
